Press reports have revealed that the Italian club Juventus has shown interest in signing the young Italian player Michael Kayode, the full-back of Brentford, during the upcoming summer transfer window, according to "Football Italia".

Kayode is delivering an outstanding performance this season in the English Premier League 2025/2026, being one of the top candidates for joining the Italian national team. He has recently caught the attention of Juventus management due to his consistent and exceptional level of play in the right-back position.

The 21-year-old right-back participated in 28 out of 29 possible matches with Brentford under the leadership of coach Keith Andrews, highlighting his pivotal role in the team's lineup this season.

This performance adds to his contributions to the advancement of his team, which currently holds the seventh position in the Premier League standings and aspires to compete for spots qualifying for European competitions.

Kayode moved to Brentford on loan from Fiorentina with an option to buy in January of last year. He had spent four years in Juventus' youth academy, making the potential deal a return to the club where he grew up.

Reports indicated that Juventus sees Kayode as a future right-back who can be relied upon for up to ten years. They are expected to pay around 30 million euros to acquire the player from Brentford, as the club aims to strengthen the right-back position with one of Italy's most promising young talents.

Some sources indicate that Kayode may soon join the Italian senior national team, having previously represented Italy in the under-18, under-19, and under-21 categories, and played eight matches with the senior team, reflecting his readiness and high level on the international stage.
