The Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly, a player for Al-Hilal, confirmed that his team will not back down from competing for the Saudi League title this season, emphasizing that the players will continue to fight until the final moments of the competition.

Koulibaly's statements came after Al-Hilal's significant victory over Al-Najma with four goals to none, in the match that brought the two teams together in the 25th round of the Saudi Roshan League at the Kingdom Arena.

The Al-Hilal defender explained that the victory was extremely important for the team, emphasizing that the players entered the match with a clear determination to deliver a strong performance that would satisfy Al-Hilal fans and reflect the team's ambitions to compete for the title.

Koulibaly added that the team succeeded in achieving the desired goal of the match, having managed to score several goals while keeping a clean sheet, which reflects the players' focus and commitment on the field.

The Senegalese defender pointed out that the race for the league title is still open, explaining that the teams in the top positions have a strong desire to compete, but Al Hilal will do everything it can to make its fans happy.

Al-Hilal scored its four goals through the French player Karim Benzema, who netted two goals, along with one goal each from the Brazilian Malcom and the Serbian Sergej Savic.

With this victory, Al Hilal raised its tally to 61 points in the Saudi League standings, securing third place, just one point behind the leaders, Al Ahli Jeddah.
