The Enma Stadium within King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah will host the match between the two teams as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Roshan League, on Friday evening at ten o'clock local time.

Al Ahly aims to secure the three points in the derby to continue putting pressure on Al Nassr and Al Hilal in the battle for the top spot in the league standings this season.

On the other hand, the union aims to achieve an important victory that will bring the team back into the competition for top positions and move it closer to entering the top four in the league standings.

The numbers indicate a clear superiority for Al-Ahli in the professional league encounters between the two teams, having won 13 out of 27 matches, compared to only five victories for Al-Ittihad, while nine matches ended in a draw.

Al-Ahly also holds a significant advantage in matches played at the Enmaa Stadium since the launch of the Professional League in 2008, having achieved ten victories out of 18 encounters, compared to only two wins for Al-Ittihad and six draws.

In the second round matches of the tournament, Al-Ahly succeeded in winning six out of 16 matches, while Al-Ittihad won four encounters, and six matches ended in a draw.

Before the anticipated derby, Al-Ahly holds the second position in the league standings with 59 points, accumulated from 18 wins and five draws against one loss, while Al-Ittihad is in fifth place with 42 points.
