The Tunisian Football Federation announced that the Court of Arbitration for Sport under FIFA has officially approved the change of sports affiliation for player Rani Khedira, making him eligible to represent the Tunisian national team with immediate effect.

The decision came after completing all administrative procedures, based on the explicit desire expressed by the star of the German team Union Berlin and the younger brother of the international star Sami Khedira to represent Tunisia.

According to the decision issued by the judge in the Players' Status Chamber, the Tunisian Federation's request to change the player's national association has been officially approved, with confirmation of his immediate eligibility to join all national teams. The German Football Association, the Confederation of African Football, and the Union of European Football Associations have been officially notified of this decision.

Rani Khedira, born on January 27, 1994, in Stuttgart, Germany, currently plays for Union Berlin in the top tier of professional football. He is expected to be a significant addition to the midfield of the "Eagles of Carthage" in upcoming international competitions, given his experience and expertise in German football.
