Al-Hilal Denies Negotiations with Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti
Monday 02-03-2026
In recent hours, there have been reports about Al Hilal entering negotiations with Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, the right-back of Al Ittihad, for his transfer to the blue team's ranks. However, these reports have been officially denied.

According to the "Our League is Different" program, Al Hilal has not conducted any negotiations with Al-Shanqeeti, and the Disciplinary Committee has not received any official complaint from the Union regarding this matter. Additionally, the player was not among the team's options during the winter transfer period.

The only deal that was negotiated with the union during the past period was for the team's winger, Abdulrahman Al-Aboud, through an official communication between the two clubs, but the deal ultimately did not go through.

Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti is 26 years old and is under a valid contract with Al-Ittihad until June 2029, which places him within the protected period. This means that negotiations with him can only occur with the approval of his club, effectively closing the door on any official attempts by Al-Hilal at the moment.
