The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Federation Decides Semi-Final Dates for the King's Cup
The Competitions Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has resolved the controversy regarding the rescheduling of the semi-final match of the King's Cup between Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli.
The committee confirmed that there is no change in the scheduled meeting on March 18 at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, despite recent speculations.
The clarification came after reports discussed the possibility of rescheduling the Round of 16 matches of the AFC Champions League for the elite, and the potential scheduling conflicts that could arise from it.
The federation emphasized that the upcoming meeting on Monday, with the participation of the league association, the competitions committee, the general secretariat, and a number of clubs, will not address any changes to the semifinals.
He explained that the discussion will focus on the possibility of holding some Roshan League matches during the middle of next week, coinciding with the postponement of Asian matches.
Local competition officials are awaiting the Asian committee's decisions regarding the return leg of the Elite League and the AFC Champions League 2, to assess any future adjustments without affecting the King's Cup semi-finals.
