The coaching staff of the Ettifaq team, led by Saad Al-Shehri, is awaiting the results of the medical examinations undergone by French player Moussa Dembele to determine his position on facing Al-Shabab.

The 29-year-old striker underwent medical tests on Sunday evening after experiencing pain that raised doubts about his readiness for the upcoming round of the Saudi Roshan League.

Dembele is considered one of the influential players this season, having participated in 13 matches for Al-Ettifaq, during which he scored five goals and assisted one goal over 1025 minutes of play.

Al-Ettifaq will host Al-Shabab next Saturday evening at ten o'clock, as part of the 25th round of the league.

Al-Ettifaq enters the match in seventh place with 38 points, aiming to strengthen its position in the standings.

On the other hand, Al-Shabab is in thirteenth place with 25 points and hopes to improve its position before entering the decisive stages of the season.
