The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation has resolved the controversy surrounding the English player Ivan Toney, the Al-Ahli Jeddah striker, following his clash with the Moroccan Jamal Harkass, the Damac defender.

There were reports about the intention to penalize Tony due to the incident involving him and Harkas during the match between the two teams in the postponed tenth round of the Saudi Roshan League, which took place last Tuesday.

Press reports confirmed that the committee did not contact the Al-Ahli and Damak clubs regarding the incident, nor did it initiate any official proceedings related to the event that sparked widespread discussion.

The "Al-Riyadiya" newspaper clarified that the incident falls within the referee's authority, meaning that the Disciplinary Committee will not intervene as long as no details warranting a penalty are mentioned in the official report.

The regulations state that cases under the management of the ruling, which have not been recorded as violations requiring presentation to the committee, remain outside the jurisdiction of discipline.

It is noted that the match ended with Al-Ahly winning 1-0, with the goal scored by Ivorian Franck Kessié in the 37th minute, raising the team's tally to 56 points and maintaining their position in second place.
