Mohamed Abdelmonem, the star of French club Nice, expressed his happiness at returning to play with his team again after recovering from injury.

The player had suffered an ACL injury last April and had been absent from participating in matches since then, until he reappeared with Nice in the friendly match that took place on Wednesday evening.

Mohamed Abdel Monem said through the official account of Nice Club: "It was my first match after a long injury, which lasted a lot and many things happened, but thank God. It's a good and difficult feeling at the same time when you stay away from playing for a long time and then return."

He added, "Thank God, I am happy today. The players helped me, and I congratulate my colleague Youssef Ndayishimiye on his return as well. God willing, we can help the team and perform well in the upcoming period."

Mohamed Abdel Moneim continued: "God willing, we will get a chance in the coming period, me, Youssef, and all the injured players, and we will be able to help the team.
