Moroccan press reports have revealed the latest developments in the crisis surrounding the recent match between Al Ahly and the Royal Army in the African Champions League.

The Moroccan newspaper "Al-Boutola" reported that a prominent source within the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that the Disciplinary Committee has not yet set a date for its meeting to discuss the events related to the match.

According to the source, the formation of the committee responsible for studying the events of the match and determining legal penalties has not yet been completed, pending the activation of the approved regulations.

He pointed out that what recently happened was limited to sending requests for clarification to the two clubs in order to comment on what was mentioned in the match observers' reports, without issuing any decisions.
