Sunday 22-02-2026
Igor Tudor, the interim manager of Tottenham, spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live following the 4-1 defeat against Arsenal in the 27th round of the Premier League.

The coach said in his speech: "A tough start against a team at this stage."

He added: "Their physical and mental fitness level was completely different, so I congratulate them. They were much better and deserved this victory. I sensed the spirit we were aspiring for, but it wasn't enough. It's good to understand our current situation."

He emphasized, "What happened on Tuesday showed me that we need to work hard and diligently."

"The team is currently facing numerous problems.. the only key is hard work in training every day and humility. We need to be more aggressive and cohesive. These are the keys."

He noted, "You recognize the gap in mental focus between the teams. This is something we need to change. I have seen players capable of doing that, but we need more time."

He concluded, "Thinking about failure won't benefit anyone."
