Liverpool coach Arne Slot appeared in a press statement following the 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the 27th round of the English Premier League.

The coach said in his speech: "The match was very close. We struggled a lot in the first half. We were lucky to score a goal in injury time."

Regarding the disallowed goal scored by Alistair after the ball hit his elbow: "I need to watch the footage to judge the correctness of the decision. Offside or not is a settled matter."

He emphasized: "In the first half, the only aspect I liked was our defense inside the penalty area. We showed a different Liverpool in the second half. We tried to involve new wingers, which led to the cancellation of our first goal. Joe Gomez was the one who executed the long throw-in."

He added: "I noticed a decline in our defense inside the penalty area this season. This may be due to the quality of the Nottingham Forest team. I am surprised by their position in the league. We did not give them many dangerous opportunities, but we lost the ball every time."

He concluded, "I have to keep changing the lineup, but not too late this time. Florian had a back issue, but it's not serious, and Curtis Jones performed well last week against Brighton."
