Olympic Safi Club announced the termination of its association with coach Zakaria Aboub following the defeat against Meknes Club by one goal to nil, in the thirteenth round of the professional "Inwi" championship.

The decision to part ways came as part of the club management's efforts to reorganize the team's affairs in the upcoming phase, aiming to achieve technical stability and meet the fans' aspirations.

Olympic Safi expressed gratitude to coach Aboub for his efforts during his tenure, praising his work and wishing him success in his future endeavors. Aboub led the Safi team to the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, after finishing the group stage in second place with 13 points, setting up a purely Moroccan encounter with Wydad Athletic Club.
