The Italian coach of the Saudi Al-Hilal team, Simone Inzaghi, explained during the press conference following the Clasico match against Al-Ittihad Jeddah that the anger displayed during the game is a natural occurrence in such major confrontations. He noted that his team did not perform at the required level throughout both halves of the match.

Inzaghi said: "In the first half, we delivered an excellent performance and should have scored more than one goal, but in the second half, we didn't perform at the same level, and the Union managed to score a goal. We tried to come back in the scoreline to no avail." He emphasized that his team will thoroughly analyze the match to correct mistakes in the upcoming phase.

The Italian coach added: "The challenges during the match were not in our favor, and Al-Ittihad played a good game, being organized and cohesive until the end. We started the match well and should have scored the second goal, and Al-Ittihad's goalkeeper excelled and saved clear chances."
