Ali Mansourian, the coach of Al-Talaba, described his team's recent match in the Iraqi Stars League as “great on both the technical and organizational levels,” despite the loss the team suffered. He emphasized that the performance delivered by the players deserves praise and reflects their tremendous efforts during the match.

Mansourian said in his statements after the match: “Despite the final result, I believe the players presented a good level on the field. We tried to implement our tactical plan, managed to control large periods of the match, and created several clear scoring opportunities, but luck and refereeing decisions sometimes play a role in the outcome of the game.”

He added: “The match was tough, against a strong and organized opponent, and I believe the players showed a high fighting spirit, which makes me confident about the near future for Al-Talaba. We have significant work to do in correcting minor mistakes and improving offensive effectiveness, especially in the final balls, because we deserve more than the points we obtained.”

Mansourian affirmed that his team will benefit from this major confrontation: “Every tough match is a lesson for us. We take the positives and address the negatives, and I expect to see noticeable development in the upcoming matches, especially as the Iraqi league is witnessing intense competition among teams for top positions, and every point has become very important.”

The Al-Talaba coach concluded his remarks by saying: “We are working on preparing the players mentally and physically for the next round of matches, and focusing on tactical discipline will be the key to achieving better results. The fans know that we always strive to present enjoyable and competitive football, and this spirit will continue in the team no matter the difficulties.”
