Hazem Emam: If I Were Not the Son of Hamada Emam, I Would Have Played for Al Ahly
Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, revealed that if he were not the son of Hamada Emam, he would have considered playing for Al Ahly club.
Hazem Emam said in statements to "On Sport" radio: "I saw Saleh Selim, and when I was a player, he was alive. I wished to see how he interacted with the players because he is a strong personality."
He continued: "Captain Saleh is one of the figures who influenced Al Ahly as a whole, and people always remember him and his personality."
He continued: "If I were an ordinary player and not Hazem Emam, the son of Hamada Emam, I would have loved to play for Al Ahly."
He added, "Any player wishes to be at Al Ahly, as playing for one of the biggest clubs is natural and legitimate."
