The Union Requests Postponement of the King's Cup Semi-Final to April
The management of Al-Ittihad Club has submitted an official request to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to reschedule the semi-final matches of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup to take place on April 7 instead of the current date of March 18, according to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper.
The Union is set to meet Al-Khulood in the semi-finals, while Al-Hilal will face Al-Ahli in the same stage of the tournament.
The Union reached the semifinals after sweeping Al-Shabab with a 4-1 victory in the quarterfinals, while Al-Hilal defeated Al-Fateh with the same score. Al-Ahli overcame Al-Qadisiyah in a penalty shootout (5-4) after a 3-3 draw, and Al-Khulood prevailed over Al-Khaleej with a 4-3 win.
