Munir Mohamedi Denies Terminating Contract with RS Berkane
Saturday 14-02-2026
The Moroccan international Munir Mohamedi denied recent rumors about terminating his contract with Nahdat Berkane, following the club's signing of goalkeeper Anas Zniti until the end of the current football season.

The national team's goalkeeper confirmed in a brief statement that he is still a player with the Orange team, emphasizing that his contractual situation is proceeding normally, saying: "I am indeed with Renaissance Berkane and continue with the team as usual."

Al-Mohammadi is currently in Spain, where he is undergoing a treatment program following an injury he sustained while participating with the Moroccan national team in the recent Africa Cup of Nations finals, which involved a shoulder dislocation that required surgical intervention.

Media reports had linked the club's contract with Al-Zeniti to the management's desire to part ways with Al-Mohammadi, which opened the door to interpretations about terminating his contract. However, the international goalkeeper came forward to end the controversy and put an end to these speculations.

It is noted that the medical staff of Renaissance Berkane has determined that Al-Mohammadi will be absent for three months due to a shoulder injury sustained in the "CAN," which prompted coach Moein Chaabani to rely on goalkeeper Mehdi Miftah in recent times, given Zeniti's unavailability.
