Kaizer Chiefs Coach: We Know Zamalek Well and Are Ready for the Decisive Match
Cedric Kazi, the assistant coach of the Kaizer Chiefs team, spoke about the match against Zamalek scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the sixth and final round of the group stage in the African Confederation Cup.
Kazi said at the press conference: "Tomorrow will be a decisive match for both teams. Our journey from South Africa to here was good, the conditions are very favorable. We had our first training session yesterday, and shortly we will take a look at the pitch."
He added: "As I said, we know the opponent we will face, and they know us too because we played the first match in South Africa. We know it will be a very tough match. They are a great team and a big name in Africa that we are playing against. They won the Confederation Cup two seasons ago."
He continued: "We are ready for the challenge and we know our strengths. Tomorrow we will try to give our all. We have no fear of the fans in the stands, and we know they have strong supporting fans, but we are used to playing in front of large crowds."
Regarding the team's desire to win, the coach commented: "We know we have to win the match; we didn't come here to draw or lose. The players are ready for tomorrow's game, and I am very excited to be part of this match."
