The English Football Association officially announced that German coach Thomas Tuchel has signed a new contract to lead the England national team until the 2028 European Championship, which will be held in the United Kingdom and Ireland, according to the official website of the association.

The renewal came after Tuchel led the English national team during the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, where he kept the Three Lions' goal unbreached and did not concede any goals, which ranked the team among the top five national teams in the world.

The federation indicated that the entire assistant coaching staff for Tuchel renewed their contracts until the summer of 2028, ensuring the entire team remains under unified leadership in the coming period.

The CEO of the federation, Mark Bullingham, commented on the renewal, saying: "I am pleased with Thomas's commitment to stay with us until the 2028 European Championship. He has been the ideal choice for this role since he joined and has enhanced his reputation during the World Cup qualifiers."

He added: "The support he receives from the players and the unity within the team is clear to everyone. There is no better candidate than him in the world of football. His experience, knowledge, and passion in big matches give the team the best chance for success."
