Antonio Conte, the coach of Napoli, expressed his dissatisfaction with the refereeing decisions following his team's exit from the Coppa Italia against Como on penalties, while also affirming that the numerous injuries remain the most influential factor on the team's journey this season.

Conte stated in his remarks: "Let's not always talk about the referees, as there will always be someone who complains."

He continued: "This is not a good season for refereeing nor for video technology, and I hope they find solutions to improve the situation, because everyone is complaining, and this does not serve football."

He added: "I commend the players because facing Como was not easy. They entered the match with their full squad after a long rest, while we played just a few days ago and lost players due to injuries."

Conte explained the extent of the suffering the team is going through, saying: "We lost important players, and McTominay is a key element for us, yet the players are giving their all."

He continued: "We bid farewell to the Champions League, and now we are out of the Coppa Italia, but the performance we are delivering is very positive considering the available resources."

He added: "Como advanced to the semi-finals, while we have achieved significant titles in the recent period, and the elimination is painful, but any coach would struggle with this number of absences."

Conte sent a message to the Napoli fans, saying: "I thank the fans who understand the magnitude of the effort being made, we were very close to qualifying, and the team did not fall short."

Regarding the talk about competing for the Serie A title, Conte commented sarcastically: "This is an absurd question, when six or seven key players are absent for long periods due to injuries, it becomes difficult to talk about competition, yet what we are delivering this season is extremely positive under the current circumstances."
