Zamalek coach Moatamed Gamal spoke about his team's loss to Zambian side Zesco in the African Confederation Cup.

Zamalek lost to Zesco by a single goal today, Sunday, in the fifth round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.

In the press conference after the match, Moatamed Gamal said: "The match was extremely difficult, and we faced a very good team. There were some issues we were dealing with, such as the absence of some players due to injuries or other reasons, and this had an impact on the team's performance."

He added: "We did not want to talk about these injuries and the circumstances we are suffering from before the match, but I thank the players. Everyone performed well in the match and made a great effort. We still have a chance to advance to the next round, and we are at the top of the group."
