The Portuguese coach, Sérgio Conceição, of Al-Ittihad, has included new players in the team's roster in preparation for the match against Qatar's Al-Gharafa in the AFC Champions League elite competition.

Conceição decided to include the newly joined duo, Frenchman Georges Ilénikhina and Cameroonian Stéphane Keller, in the Al-Ittihad squad for the first time since their contracts were finalized.

This step came after the success of the club's management in securing two deals during the last winter transfer window, aiming to strengthen the team's lineup for the remainder of the current season's competitions.

The list also included the presence of Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who participated in the recent Al-Nassr match in the Roshn League, as indicated by the "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper.

The Al-Ittihad team continues its preparations for the anticipated match, conducting the main training session this afternoon, after limiting Saturday to recovery training for the main players.

The Union will host its Qatari counterpart Al-Gharafa next Tuesday evening at the "Enmaa" Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the seventh round of the continental championship.

The club's management decided to open the final training session to the fans on Monday at the club's stadium, in a move aimed at supporting and motivating the players before the important Asian match.
