Ahmed Suleiman, a member of the board of directors of Zamalek Club, confirmed that the crisis involving Imam Ashour with Al-Ahly is different from the crisis involving Mahmoud Bentayk with Zamalek.

Suleiman said on the "Captain" program on the "dmc" channel: "We must distinguish between Imam Ashour's issue with Al-Ahly and Mahmoud Bentayek's with Zamalek. Imam made a mistake and was punished, and I respected Walid Salah El-Din in that punishment. However, Bentayek had his contract terminated, and we were able, with Mamdouh Abbas and the council, to resolve the matter. We contacted his agent, and he returned to training."

He added: "Things with Bentaika have returned to normal, unlike Imam Ashour. Bentaika and Abdullah Al-Saeed are absent due to injury and lack of physical readiness, and there is no registered player saying they are not traveling."

Zamalek is preparing to face Zambian team Zesco tomorrow, Sunday, in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
