Karim Benzema, the Al-Hilal striker, completely closed the door on discussions about his former club Al-Ittihad, refusing to delve into the details of his departure or the issue of not bidding farewell to his teammates after his transfer to the blue jersey.

Benzema joined Al-Hilal on a one-and-a-half-year contract during the winter transfer window, which closed on February 2nd, after officially terminating his association with Al-Ittihad Club.

The French star made his debut for Al-Hilal as a starter against Al-Okhdood in the 21st round of the Saudi Roshan League, leading his team to a wide 6-0 victory.

Benzema scored a hat-trick in the match, in addition to assisting a goal, earning him the Man of the Match award, confirming a strong start with his new team in the Saudi Professional League.

During his conversation with the media after the meeting, Benzema was asked about the reasons for leaving the club and not bidding farewell to his teammates. His response was sharp: "Are we talking about the match or the club? Ask them."

Benzema spoke about the atmosphere at the beginning of his time with Al-Hilal, confirming that the team played a good match and achieved a clean-sheet victory, emphasizing the fighting spirit and teamwork on the field.

Al-Hilal continues to top the Saudi Roshan League standings with 50 points, having achieved 15 wins and 5 draws over 20 rounds of competition.
