Saturday 31-01-2026
French goalkeeper Mike Maignan is expected to arrive at AC Milan's headquarters today to sign a new contract that extends until 2030, with an option for the club to extend the contract for an additional year, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.

Maignan (30 years old) joined AC Milan in the summer of 2021 from the French club Lille for 16.4 million euros. He has been the team's primary goalkeeper since then, participating in 188 matches across all competitions, during which he kept a clean sheet in 70 games.

This season, Maignan continues to deliver outstanding performances, leading the list of Serie A goalkeepers in crucial saves, significantly contributing to the positive results that have put Milan in contention for the top of the league.

Maignan began his professional career in France with Paris Saint-Germain and then joined Lille. He is known for his quick reflexes, ability to handle high balls, and organizing the defense in front of him, which has made him one of the best goalkeepers of this decade. Milan affirms its confidence in him for many years to come.
