Pellegrino Matarazzo, the coach of Spanish club Real Sociedad, acknowledged his awareness of Brazilian player Wesley Gasova from Saudi club Al-Nassr, who has been linked with a loan move to the team during the winter transfer window.

Real Sociedad's interest in signing Wesley comes as part of their efforts to strengthen their offensive side, amid negotiations that have not yet reached their final stages.

During the press conference preceding the derby match, Matarazzo refused to delve into the details of the deal, emphasizing that football is full of surprises before contracts are signed.

The Sociedad coach said that he knows Wesley well, but he prefers not to talk about players who have not officially joined, out of respect for the ongoing negotiations.

Matarazzo explained that his team is looking for an attacking player capable of occupying more than one position on the field, noting that the final decision will be announced only after the signing.

He added that the club monitored several other names, explaining that the focus in the past period was on Sensi, along with following Dani Diaz and Job Ochieng during training sessions.

He concluded his remarks by confirming that Real Sociedad is currently looking to sign one player, noting that any additional developments will become clear to everyone at the appropriate time.
