Friday 30-01-2026
The coaching staff of Saudi club Al-Nassr, led by Portuguese Jorge Jesus, is awaiting the decisive medical examination results of Croatian Marcelo Brozović to determine the nature and severity of the injury.

The Saudi sports newspaper reported that the final test result will be released tomorrow, Saturday, after which the midfielder's participation in upcoming matches will be decided.

Brozović experienced pain in his thigh muscle before the team's training session on Wednesday, affected by the injury he sustained during the match against Al-Taawoun in the previous round.

The newspaper explained that the player failed to pass the medical examinations conducted on Thursday, which led to his exclusion from the Al-Nassr squad against Al-Khulood.

The Croatian star missed the match against Al-Kholood in the nineteenth round of the Saudi Professional League due to a precautionary technical decision until his medical condition becomes clear.

Marcelo Brozović participated with Al-Nassr this season in 23 matches across various competitions, including 15 matches in the league championship.

Al-Nassr holds the third position in the Roshan League standings with 40 points, while Al-Khulood is in the fourteenth position with 15 points. It is noteworthy that Al-Alami won against Al-Taawoun with a 1-0 victory in the eighteenth round.
