Al-Hamdan Considers Terminating Contract with Al-Hilal to Join Al-Nassr

Saudi international Abdullah Al-Hamdan, a player for Al-Hilal's first football team, is considering terminating his contract with the club to move to Al-Nassr during the current winter transfer window. This move could ignite the transfer market between the traditional rivals.

According to Al-Riyadiyah newspaper, Al-Nassr's management is planning to enter into official negotiations with Al-Hilal to purchase the remaining duration of Al-Hamdan's contract. This decision is based on the desire of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who considers the player an important addition to strengthen the attack line for the current season.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan's contract with Al-Hilal ends on the sixth of February, which is three days after the winter transfer window closes. This prompts the player to consider the option of unilaterally terminating the contract before the end of the transfer market, in case Al-Hilal insists on refusing to sell him to Al-Nassr.

The newspaper indicated that Al-Nassr has already secured Hamdan's signature on a contract extending for four and a half seasons, pending the final decision with Al-Hilal.

It is worth noting that the management of Al-Za'eem had initially rejected the preliminary talks regarding the player's departure, following the failure of negotiations to renew his contract under the same current terms.
