The Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman, the head coach of the Iraqi Al-Shorta team, commented on the details of his reaction and movements during his team's match against Naft Maysan, as part of the fifteenth round of the Iraqi Stars League, which ended with Al-Shorta's victory with a score of (2-1).

The match witnessed scenes showing Soliman speaking and gesturing towards Naft Maysan's coach Hassan Ahmed, which sparked widespread controversy, before the Al-Shorta coach came out to clarify the circumstances of the incident through media statements.

Soliman said that his reaction was a result of provocation during the match, confirming that he did not cross the line or insult Naft Maysan's coach, explaining that he only said to him: "Be quiet and you will lose by three goals," pointing out that the match ended with two goals, although his team deserved to score more goals.

He added that Al-Shorta delivered a strong performance and was capable of scoring seven goals, emphasizing that his team focused on presenting real football that entertains the fans, rather than just achieving the result.

The Al-Shorta coach pointed out that he considers himself one of the sons of this country and cannot overstep any person, especially those older than him, confirming his respect for coach Hassan Ahmed and everyone working in the Iraqi sports community.

Soliman criticized Naft Maysan's style of play during the match, indicating that the team has good players, but reliance on frequent falling, creating problems, and constant objections to the referees are all actions that fall outside the framework of football, expressing his hope to steer clear of such behaviors.
