Al-Shorta Club secured a well-deserved victory over Mosul with a score of (3-0) in the match that brought the two teams together within the Iraq Stars League competitions, as the Green Harp continued its revival and strengthened its position in the standings.

The first half witnessed a clear dominance by Al-Shorta in terms of possession and building attacks, as the team succeeded in translating its superiority into the opening goal at the 21st minute through Sharif Abdul-Kadhim, after continuous pressure that unsettled Mosul's defense, ending the first half with Al-Shorta leading by one goal to nil.

In the second half, Al-Shorta continued to impose its control over the course of the match and managed to extend its lead in the 51st minute through Atheer Saleh, who capitalized on one of the chances in front of the goal, scoring the second goal and granting his team a comfortable advantage in the result.

Before the end of the match, Bassam Shaker sealed Al-Shorta's hat-trick by scoring the third goal in the 86th minute, confirming his team's superiority and completely deciding the encounter.
