The Ittihad Tangier Club announced, through an official statement addressed to its fans, the start of preparations to return to the Grand Stadium of Tangier, following the completion of renovation works it underwent, in preparation for hosting official matches in the upcoming period.

The club clarified that the upcoming match against Kawkab Marrakech will take place as part of a transitional phase, pending the completion of all organizational and security arrangements related to the full opening of the stadium. It noted that the number of spectators allowed to attend will remain subject to the decision of the competent provincial authorities.

The Tangier Union confirmed that this return comes in accordance with a gradual approach aimed at testing logistical and organizational aspects, particularly those related to entry and exit routes, organizing internal spaces, and ensuring the strict application of approved security measures. This is done in full coordination with local authorities and security services to maintain the safety of the fans and ensure the normal conduct of matches.

The club called on its fans to be patient and disciplined, and to adhere to official instructions, emphasizing that ticket purchases will be exclusively through the official electronic platform IRTFOOT.MA. The start date for ticket sales will be announced once the official decision regarding the allowed capacity is issued.

The Tangier Union concluded its statement by expressing gratitude to all partners and stakeholders who contributed to creating the suitable conditions for the team's return to its stadium, foremost among them the local authorities in the Tangier-Assilah province and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. It emphasized that efforts are ongoing to ensure an organized return befitting the grand stadium and the fans of the Tangier Union.
