The Egyptian club Zamalek is preparing to officially announce the signing of Moroccan winger Abdelhamid Maali, a player from Ittihad Tanger, in a deal expected to be one of the team's most prominent reinforcements during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Reports have revealed that Zamalek has finished filming a presentation video for the player in preparation for the announcement of the deal, awaiting Maali's arrival in Cairo in the coming days for the official announcement of his transfer and contract details.

In the player's first response, Maali re-shared a photo via the 'story' feature on his official Instagram account, featuring Zamalek's logo with a clear indication of his transfer to the white team, a step confirming the completion of the agreement between the two parties.

Zamalek has entered advanced negotiations with Ittihad Tanger to sign Maali, one of the most promising talents in Moroccan football, who excels as a right winger and is noted for his speed and skill, in addition to his international appearances with Morocco's youth national teams.

Regarding the circulated information about a buyout clause in the player's contract, Moroccan reports denied the existence of a direct clause, clarifying that the contract includes a provision granting the club the right of first refusal if Maali receives an offer worth 3 million Moroccan dirhams, without it being mandatory for an automatic sale.

Zamalek's management views the Maali deal as an investment for the future, given the player's high technical capabilities and international experience despite his young age, in addition to being a previous target for several Arab and European clubs.

For his part, Abdelhamid Maali sent an emotional farewell message to the fans and management of Ittihad Tanger via his official Instagram account, stating: "Such is the way of life, and every beginning has an end...
