Aston Villa officially announced the permanent signing of English international striker Tammy Abraham from Beşiktaş, in a move that strengthens the team's attacking line ahead of upcoming commitments.

Abraham returns to Villa Park after a successful previous stint, where he was a pivotal figure in the team that achieved promotion to the Premier League during the 2018-2019 season, having scored 25 league goals. He also scored the decisive penalty in the shootout against West Bromwich Albion, which led Aston Villa to the playoff final at Wembley Stadium.

Abraham's brilliance that season contributed to his entry into the club's history, becoming the first Aston Villa player to score 25 goals in a single season since Andy Gray's achievement in the 1976-1977 season.

After leaving Aston Villa, Abraham continued his illustrious career, winning the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea before helping Roma secure the UEFA Europa Conference League title, affirming his value as a highly experienced player at the top levels.

Aston Villa hopes that Abraham will be a strong addition to the team in the upcoming phase, benefiting from his scoring experience and his previous successful stint with the club.

The deal cost Aston Villa's coffers 21 million euros.
