Good News in Barcelona Training Before Facing Copenhagen
Tuesday 27-01-2026
The last training session for Barcelona before facing Copenhagen in the Champions League saw the return of forward Ferran Torres after recovering from a minor injury in his right calf muscle, which had prevented him from participating in the last two matches.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" confirmed that Torres participated with the entire group, which increases his chances of being in the starting lineup tomorrow. Coach Hans Flick is expected to clarify his readiness during the official press conference before the match.

Flick had started with Robert Lewandowski in the starting lineup in recent matches against Slavia Prague and Real Oviedo. The decision regarding his continuation in the lineup on Wednesday remains under consideration, taking into account that Lewandowski has scored 11 goals and provided one assist so far, while Torres has 15 goals and one assist.

Barcelona needs to win, preferably by a large goal margin, to ensure qualification among the top eight teams in the tournament. This suggests the possibility of relying on an offensive lineup that includes Fermín López, who secured his participation after appearing in the final minutes against Oviedo, as well as Dani Olmo. Meanwhile, Eric, Casado, and Bernal will compete for the midfield position in the absence of Frenkie de Jong due to suspension.

The morning training session also saw the participation of reserve team players Tommy Marquez and Koshin, while Gavi and Pedri were absent from the session.
