Monday 26-01-2026
Al Ahly club is close to signing Osama Faisal, the Al Ahly Bank striker, during the current winter transfer window, as part of the management's efforts to strengthen the attacking line before resuming the season's competitions.

According to media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour, Al Ahly is close to completing the deal for 70 million pounds, following advanced negotiations between the two parties, with the player welcoming the opportunity to embark on a new experience with the Red Castle.

Al-Ahly continues its active moves in the transfer market, having successfully signed Amr Al-Jazzar, Marwan Osman, Youssef Belamri, and Ahmed Eid, with the aim of strengthening the squad and providing multiple tactical solutions for the coaching staff.

The move to include Osama Faisal comes at the request of Danish coach Jess Thorup, who expressed his desire to strengthen the striker position, as he is not convinced by the performance of Mohamed Sherif and Slovenian Nejc Gradišar. He does not object to their departure if suitable replacements are signed.
