Odegaard: We Are Still on Top, and This Is What We Must Do
Sunday 25-01-2026
Arsenal star Martin Ødegaard spoke to the press following the 3-2 loss against Manchester United in the top match of the 23rd round of the English Premier League, held at the Emirates Stadium.

The Norwegian star said: "Our performance wasn't good enough, and we need some time to analyze what happened. We should have delivered a better level, but now it's time to be more cohesive, continue working, push each other, and come back stronger."

He added: "In the first half, we were the better team, we scored a goal and controlled the game, but we made many mistakes in losing the ball. We managed to come back to a 2-2 draw, but they scored immediately after that."

He emphasized: "This league is never easy, and we know that well. I think we were well-prepared for the match, we started strong, and in the second half, we saw the momentum shift a little. Certainly, the performance should have been better, and we need to learn the lessons and keep working."

He concluded: "Every match represents a big challenge, and this is part of football. We are still at the top of the league, so we have to keep going and bounce back quickly, as this is the only remedy."
