Sunday 25-01-2026
Kazakhstan's FC Aktobe officially announced its signing with the veteran Portuguese winger Nani, coming out of retirement, with a contract extending for one season.

The 39-year-old player had announced his retirement from professional football in December 2024, but decided to return to the field for a new experience in Kazakhstan.

Nani, whose origins trace back to the Cape Verde Islands located in West Africa, was part of the Portugal national team that won the UEFA Euro 2016.

Nani, who played 230 matches, scored 41 goals, and provided 65 assists with Manchester United over eight seasons, will also take on an expanded role in the club's development projects and Kazakhstani football as part of his deal.
