Al Hilal Presents a New Offer, Igniting the Battle to Sign Abu Al-Shamat from Al-Qadisiyah
Saturday 24-01-2026
Al Hilal Club is moving rapidly in the current winter transfer market, aiming to strengthen its squad with outstanding local players, foremost among them is Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, the right-back of the Al-Qadisiyah team.

Al-Hilal continues its earnest attempts to sign Abu Al-Shamat, despite the rejection of its initial offer by the Qadisiyah management, which considers the player a key component in the "Eastern Knight" lineup.

The newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" revealed that Al-Hilal's management has made a new and improved offer to Al-Qadisiyah, hoping to persuade the club to agree to the player's transfer during the current winter transfer window.

Al-Hilal aims with this step to strengthen the right-back position, which has become a top priority for the coaching staff following recent changes in this position within the team.

Mohamed Abu Al-Shamat tops the list of Al-Hilal's options to strengthen the right flank, while Rady Al-Otaibi, the Al-Ettifaq player, is presented as a second option on the blue management's table.

Abu Al-Shamat participated in 19 matches wearing the Qadsia jersey this season, successfully scoring one goal and providing 5 assists, which enhanced his technical value in the league.

In the event that negotiations with Al-Qadsia falter, Al-Hilal officials will open negotiations with Al-Ettifaq to explore the possibility of signing Rady Al-Otaibi before the transfer window closes.

Al-Hilal hopes to finalize the right-back position this January, either by signing Abu Al-Shamat or Al-Otaibi, to fill the gap left by the departure of Portuguese player João Cancelo to Barcelona.
