Yurtchich: The Match Against RS Berkane Will Be Extremely Difficult
The Croatian Krunoslav Jurčić, coach of Pyramids, spoke about his team's match against RS Berkane scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, as part of the third round of the group stage in the CAF Champions League.
In the press conference before the match, Yurčić said: "Facing Renaissance Berkane will be extremely difficult, especially against a strong opponent with great capabilities, playing on their home ground and among their fans. Additionally, there is competition between the two teams for the top spot in the group, making the match challenging. Pyramids always play to win, no matter the circumstances."
He added: "Pyramids prepared well for the match with an external camp in the UAE and recently regained their international players after their participation in the African Cup of Nations. Despite some absences, most notably international left-back Mohamed Hamdy, the team is fully ready and has come to Berkane to play for the win, return with the three points, maintain the top spot in the group, and take a bigger step towards qualifying for the quarter-finals."
He continued: "Pyramids previously faced Berkane months ago in the continent's African Super Cup, and it was indeed a difficult match, and they won the title. Therefore, each team knows all the details about their opponent, which will make the match difficult for both teams."
