Inzaghi clarified, in statements published by the newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat," that relying on set pieces is not a substitute for the role of strikers, but rather an essential element in football and one of the most important sources of scoring goals.

He pointed out that the technical staff includes a specialist in set pieces, with players like Pablo Mari and Lajami possessing exceptional abilities in executing set pieces and long throw-ins.

The Italian coach addressed the attacking roles within the team, confirming that Marcos Leonardo and Nunez excel as outright strikers. Meanwhile, Nunez covered more than one position during Salem Al-Dossari's absence, playing in positions 7 and 11, delivering an outstanding performance as a winger during the match.

Regarding the big 4-1 victory over Al-Fayha, Inzaghi praised the team's performance from the start, explaining that Al-Hilal was the side initiating the attack and succeeded in scoring against an organized opponent.

The coach also praised the performance of the forwards Malcom, Marcos Leonardo, and Nunez, noting their continuous efforts to give their best and their deserving to score goals.
