Al-Nassr's Fullback Enters Al-Ahli's Radar in the Winter Transfer Market
Al-Ahli Saudi Club has opened the file to strengthen the left flank amid its active moves during the current winter transfer window, following the loan of Abdul-Ilah Al-Khaibri to Al-Riyadh Club.
Al-Ahli management has begun studying a number of local options, foremost among them is Salem Al-Najdi, the left-back of Al-Nassr Club, along with Dari Al-Anazi, a player from Damac team.
The Saudi sports newspaper reported that the German coach Matthias Jaissle emphasized the need to sign an alternative left-back to compensate for the recent shortage in this position.
The newspaper clarified that Al-Ahly's management officially contacted their counterparts at Al-Nassr Club to inquire about the status of Salem Al-Najdi and the possibility of signing him during the current winter transfer window.
Salem Al-Najdi participated in only eight matches with Al-Nassr this season, after joining the team from Al-Fateh in August 2023.
On the other hand, Dhari Al-Anazi played 17 matches with Damac this season without scoring any goals, only providing two assists, which makes him a potential option for Al-Ahli.
