Two Roshan League Players Adorn the Ideal Lineup for Africa Cup of Nations

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the ideal lineup for the Africa Cup of Nations, which was hosted by Morocco and saw Senegal's national team crowned as the continental champions.

The Senegal national team won the championship after defeating the Morocco national team with a single goal in the final, scored by Pape Gueye, in a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very last moments.

The final match witnessed a dramatic scenario when Ibrahim Diaz missed a crucial penalty for the Atlas Lions in the last minutes, which could have changed the course of the African title.

Bab Gueye succeeded in securing the victory for Senegal with a powerful shot in the 94th minute of the first extra time, granting his country its second African title in history.

The ideal lineup revealed by CAF was limited to players from only three teams: Senegal, Morocco, and Nigeria, following their impressive performances during the tournament.

The Nigerian national team secured third place in the Africa Cup of Nations after defeating the Egyptian team in a penalty shootout, following a goalless draw.

The ideal lineup featured Yassine Bounou, Noussair Mazraoui, Achraf Hakimi, and Brahim Diaz from Morocco, alongside Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, and Victor Osimhen from Nigeria.

The list also included Moussa Niakhaté, Idrissa Gueye, Pape Gueye, and Sadio Mané, highlighting the strong presence of the Senegalese quartet in the continental tournament.
