Al-Zawraa Club is close to finalizing the deal to contract the Jordanian national team player and Al-Wehdat Club’s Amer Jamous, as part of the “Seagulls” management’s efforts to strengthen the team during the current winter transfer window, in preparation for the remaining Iraqi Stars League competitions and upcoming commitments.

Several media sources, including Al-Kass Qatar channels, confirmed that the transfer deal of Amer Jamous to Al-Zawraa has been officially completed, and the official announcement is only a matter of time after agreeing on all contract details.

This step comes as part of Al-Zawraa’s management moves to compensate for the departure of the other Jordanian midfielder Nizar Al-Rashdan, who recently moved to Qatar SC, as the management sees Amer Jamous as the most suitable option to fill the gap left by Al-Rashdan in midfield.

Amer Jamous is considered one of the prominent names in Jordanian football recently, as he represents an important element in the Jordanian national team and has succeeded in delivering impressive performances that attracted attention, especially during his participation in the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar, where he showed strong and consistent performance.

Jamous’s joining is expected to provide a clear technical addition to Al-Zawraa’s midfield, thanks to his international experience and ability to link the lines, as well as his physical presence and influential role in both defensive and offensive phases, which enhances the team’s ambitions to return strongly to compete for top positions in the upcoming stage.
