Sports reports revealed today, Saturday, the stance of Mishal Al-Mutairi, a player of the first football team at Abha Club, regarding his transfer to Al-Ahli Jeddah during the current winter transfer window, following his official signing with the Jeddah club after entering the free agency period.
According to reports, Al-Mutairi has agreed with the management of Abha Club to remain with the team until the end of the current season, despite signing a professional contract with Al-Ahli Club last Friday. His transfer will be officially activated at the start of the next season.
Al-Mutairi informed the management of Abha Club of his desire to stay, in support of the southern team that is leading the Yelo League standings for First Division clubs, affirming his full commitment to continue the journey with the team in the competition for promotion.
Al-Ahli Club had attempted to purchase the remaining period of the player's contract during the current winter transfer window, after securing his signature for three seasons and following his medical examinations at a medical center in the city of Jeddah, according to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah."
