German coach Oliver Glasner, the head coach of Crystal Palace, confirmed that he will not renew his contract with the team and will leave at the end of the current season in June, after having made the decision several months ago.

Glasner stated in his remarks: "I informed the club months ago that I wanted a new challenge, and I confirmed to Steve Parish in October during the international break that I would not sign a new contract. We discussed the matter at length and agreed to keep it confidential for three months."

He added: "Our schedule was very busy, which is why we didn't want to talk about it until now. But now it's important to have complete clarity about my future with the club, and Steve and I want the best for Crystal Palace."

It is expected that Crystal Palace's management will begin searching for a suitable replacement for Glasner in the near future to ensure the continuation of the team's sporting project next season.
