Al-Zawraa Club officially announced the signing of Colombian striker Brian Riascos, coming from Uzbek club Pakhtakor, as part of the management's efforts to strengthen the team's frontline during the upcoming phase of the Iraqi Stars League competitions.

The club published a statement on its official social media accounts confirming the completion of the deal, welcoming the new player to the team’s ranks, in a move aimed at supporting the attacking side and providing the technical staff with additional options in the frontline.

Brian Riascos is 31 years old and has extensive experience through his professional career in several different leagues, having previously represented Atlético Huila in Colombia, Famalicão and Nacional Madeira in Portugal, in addition to his experience in the Saudi league with Al-Khaleej Club, before his last stop with Uzbek club Pakhtakor.

Al-Zawraa fans rely on the experience of the Colombian striker and his ability to capitalize on opportunities inside the penalty area to help improve the team's attacking effectiveness, especially given the strong competition in the league this season.
