Union and Al-Ahli Rivalry to Sign Raghad Al-Najjar After Entering Free Agency Period
Al-Nassr club goalkeeper, Raghad Al-Najjar, has attracted the interest of the Saudi clubs Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli, as they prepare to sign him on a free transfer after his contract with the yellow team expires next summer, following the start of his free agency period this month.
According to the Saudi newspaper Okaz, Raghed Al-Najjar is currently considering offers from Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli, alongside the renewal offer from Al-Nassr Club, which is the strongest financially so far.
The newspaper pointed out that the management of Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli is showing serious interest in finalizing the deal, taking advantage of the player's contract situation. Al-Najjar is expected to decide his next destination in the coming days after weighing the available offers.
It is worth mentioning that Raghed Al-Najjar has been absent from participating with Al-Nassr recently due to injury. Meanwhile, the Al-Nassr team is preparing to face Al-Shabab next Saturday in the sixteenth round of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League), following their recent 3-1 loss to Al-Hilal in the previous round.
