Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Zamalek star, praised Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egypt national team, after reaching the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Egyptian national team will face the Senegalese national team tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final.

Mido said on the program "Oudat Al-Labes": "Hossam Hassan is my role model, and although there were some disagreements between us in the past, this is normal in the sports world, but it never affected my great respect for him."

He added: "I bet on the Egyptian national team reaching the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations because I am confident in Hossam Hassan's abilities as a very professional coach, capable of achieving this goal. He works hard and sincerely, and is characterized by his focus on every detail."

Mido concluded: "Take Hossam and Ibrahim Hassan as role models in your lives, just as I take them as my role models."
