Al Hilal Finalizes Pablo Marí Deal from Fiorentina
Sunday 11-01-2026
Al Hilal Saudi Club has finalized the signing of Spanish defender Pablo Marí, a player from Italy's Fiorentina, to strengthen the team's defense during the current winter transfer window.

Italian journalist specializing in transfer market news, Nicolo Schira, reported that Al Hilal's management has finalized an agreement with Fiorentina to sign Pablo Mari for 1.5 million euros.

Schira explained, through his official account on the "X" platform, that the Spanish defender will sign a contract with Al-Hilal extending until June 2026, with a clause allowing the contract to be extended for an additional season until 2027, provided that certain conditions agreed upon by both parties are met.

Al Hilal's move to sign Pablo Mari came at the request of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, given the team's need to strengthen the defense, especially with the absence of Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who is currently occupied with participating with his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations being held in Morocco.
